Part intuition, part curiosity, but mostly driven by a desire to work in a sector we love, when we pivoted our consultancy and coaching to focus on leaders in arts and culture, we were also seeking to learn more about creatively driven approaches to leadership.
Numerous decades walking the corridors of corporate has certainly gifted us some great moments with great leaders. It’s enabled us to gain the knowledge and experience of sound business models and ways of working that we’re now able to share in a sector where less structured operations often suffice and where strategy, goals and other such business chat can strike fear into the more artistic of hearts.
The unique leadership skills and experience we’ve discovered in the arts are equally valuable and would benefit those working in more traditional business environments in return. Most importantly, they are unique and timely strengths that should be protected and developed for the future.
